Cassandra is a professional Artist.

Experienced in delivering Yarn-storm, Crochet and Textile workshops, including Bavarian Crochet, Weaving, Felting, Free-form or Extreme Crochet & how to create Yarn-storm Installations!

Cassandra was Artist in Residence at The Mill, Batley from November 2014 to January 2015, running free workshops and drop in sessions and creating a permanent installation for the mill.

Yorkshire Festival 2014
Project Coordinator & Workshop Facilitator commissioned by the Yorkshire Festival 2014 to deliver, one of ten community commissions for the Festival - the first ever to precede The Tour De France’s Grand Depart. Over 6 months Cassandra designed, organised and delivered all aspects of the project; from the bidding process and project conception to marketing and management and the delivery of twenty bicycle Yarn-storm workshops in ten Yorkshire towns and cities. The project was featured in Vogue Knitting, Prima, Yorkshire Life, The Yorkshire Post and ITV’s Calendar, BBC Radio Leeds & Sheffield , Amongst many other, newspapers, magazines and radio coverage.

 Cassandra inspired us to Yarnstorm our bike at last year's Dewsbury Minster Festival.
